You must have a valid South African driver’s licence (Code B/EB or higher recommended for larger vehicles) – Temporary licences are also acceptable.
You must be 21 years or older to drive.
You must have a clean driving record and valid vehicle insurance.
You must consent to our driver screening and background check (including criminal record and driving history verification).
You must own a suitable vehicle (bakkie, van, or truck) in good condition with valid licensing and roadworthy certificate.
You must own an iPhone or Android smartphone capable of downloading and running the Eesyload Driver app.
Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) may be required depending on vehicle type and local regulations – we’ll guide you during onboarding if needed.
Vehicle Requirements
2010 or newer (vehicles older than this may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on condition)
Suitable for carrying furniture and heavy loads (bakkie, panel van, light truck, or large SUV with foldable seats preferred)
Good condition with sufficient load space (open load bin or enclosed cargo area)
Valid roadworthy certificate
Registered and licensed in South Africa
Comprehensive vehicle insurance covering commercial/goods transport use
Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) required if vehicle GVW exceeds 3,500 kg or for certain goods categories – we’ll assist during onboarding
Document Requirements
To complete your driver application and get activated on the Eesyload platform, please upload clear, legible photos or scans of the following documents:
Driver profile photo – A clear, recent headshot (facing camera, neutral background, no sunglasses or hats)
Valid South African driver’s licence – Both sides (must be clear and in date)
Valid ID document – South African ID card, book, or passport (with valid visa/work permit if applicable)
Vehicle registration document – Proof of ownership or registration in your name (disk and licence paper)
Vehicle insurance – Comprehensive insurance policy covering commercial or goods-carrying use (must be valid and in your name)
Roadworthy certificate – Current and valid roadworthy (CRW) for your vehicle
Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) – Required if your vehicle has a GVM over 3,500 kg or for transporting goods for reward (we’ll let you know if needed based on your vehicle)
